"Manirna Muzyka"

     A mannered music for piano, keyboards, cello and guitar, supported by female voice. Neurotic pieces based on rock avant-garde and classical music, performed by quartet from Kiev. Their music is a result of various tastes and fascinations, but musicians together search for their own, original aesthetics and sound. CBS produce pieces which can be described as brief statements concerning different psychological stages - from overwhelming depression, through hysterical stimulation up to exculpating consolation.

      Each instrument imports its own piece of story - individual story, a thread which is used to weave a unique, living fabric.

      The music was produced in 1989 and is recognised as one of the most outstanding achievements of Ukrainian underground.

      The material was recorded in May'93 in Warsaw. Comparing to "drastic autopsy of mentality" climates present in previous record "Manirna Muzyka", this music is intended to be rather delicate, muffled and reflective. It is more experimental with strong baroque ornaments.
